Tell the truth about the ground
Site conditions, constraints, and unknowns are surfaced early instead of hidden behind vague promises.
The story, people, principles, and credentials behind Dirt Works Hawaii and Dirt Works Construction.

Before starting Dirt Works, Jordan DeLima spent years working in landscaping, excavation, heavy-equipment operation, and high-end residential construction across Oʻahu. That field experience taught him how much the success of a project depends on the preparation beneath it.
Jordan and his wife, Darian, built the company themselves. There was no large organization behind them—just determination, long hours, careful decisions, and a shared commitment to creating something their family could be proud of.
Today, Dirt Works remains intentionally hands-on. Jordan brings an analytical eye to the land, the grade, the machinery, and the construction sequence. Darian helps carry the responsibility of building the business and their family. Together, they have shaped a company known for capable work and genuine treatment of people.

Jordan combines practical construction experience with the way an engineer studies a problem. He reads the land, understands how grades and water interact, knows which equipment belongs on the site, and pays attention to the details that separate acceptable work from excellent work.
That standard extends to the crew. Dirt Works is a small team, but it is a skilled and respectful one. The expectation is simple: treat people well, work intelligently, and leave behind results that can stand beside the work of any contractor in Hawaiʻi.
These principles give the story practical meaning for the client.
